Invisible optical cables, designed for discreet indoor installation, typically have an outer diameter of 0.9 mm or 1.2 mm, significantly smaller than conventional cables. This thin profile, combined with the use of single-mode, bending-insensitive G.657B3 or G657A2 fibers, allows these cables to be installed in narrow gaps and along surfaces, providing a nearly invisible connection.
